The Premier Center For Lip Fillers in Paramus, NJ

Lip Fillers

In the hands of our Board Certified Doctors, Lip Fillers bring beautiful results

Some people naturally have thin lips, while others experience lip thinning over the years coupled with vertical lines that add unwanted texture. Whatever your unique needs are, lip fillers are an excellent way to enhance your pout. We utilize several different fillers, which are made of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in your body. Due to their gel-like consistency, such fillers can create fullness, plumpness, and smooth away the appearance of fine lines.

Our Approach:

At Aesthetica, we truly treat lips as a work of art. No two lips are the same and therefore, there is no “one-size fits all” solution. We understand that lips are highly subjective, therefore, we take the time to understand your specific goals    whether that is natural and subtle or glam and sexy. The best part? Results will last 8-12 months. Prior to the procedure, the area treated will be numbed for 20 minutes to minimize any discomfort. Afterwards, you may experience a bit of swelling and redness at the site of treatment for a few days, but can resume normal activities.

How it Works

The lips lose volume and shape as collagen breaks down with age. Lip fillers aim to recapture these attractive features, and even improve them, through the reintroduction of healthy acids. The result is an instant and noticeable collagen boost that fills the lips and gives it a better shape.

Our Doctors Say...

Lips are complicated. Like the rest of the face, they need contour, shape, symmetry and proportion. If special care is not administered, they can look tubular which is not aesthetically pleasing

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is a candidate for Lip Fillers?

Anyone who wants to restore the plump appearance of their lips is a good candidate. Patients with a history of cold sores and other oral infections might need more tests. Some components found in lip fillers have been found to aggravate allergies, which is why it’s best to keep track of your medical history before undergoing the procedure.

What should I expect?

There are some precautions prior to getting lip fillers. Blood thinners such as alcohol, aspirin, and ibuprofen can complicate the procedure and lead to bruising. Stay away from these at least 3 days before your treatment.

Swelling is a common side effect of lip fillers. Specialists will usually space your treatments to allow the mouth to heal and take shape. You can observe gradual changes in-between sessions, which can help you manage the amount you need to get your dream lips.

Your physician might ask you to minimize lip movement for the first two days. You might also find it difficult to smile and chew because of soreness. As with any side-effect, your lips will eventually get used to the presence of the filler in just a matter of days.

How long will the results last?

Lip injections can last anywhere from 6 - 12 months, depending on your metabolism. This also depends on the type of injection you are using.

"Love! Had such a great experience getting lip fillers with Dr. Ibrahim at Aesthetica. The office is so beautiful and the staff/environment made it such a fun and inviting experience. I had a lot of questions and concerns when I went in for my consultation (it being my first experience) and Dr. Ibrahim took the time to thoroughly explain the process from start to finish. I felt so comfortable and at home throughout the entire procedure and I get constant compliments on the work she did for me. I can't wait to come back!"

Thank you Dr. Ibrahim for making me look like the best version of myself!"
